Wow! This has been one busy, fun-filled, hard-working year for Pickle Stew. When I started this website in February of 2016, I pictured family, friends, and friends of friends as my customers. While this has proven true, Pickle Stew has grown and continues to reach far beyond the realms of my imagination. We are up to almost 650 Facebook followers, we have a lot of new products coming out, and we are helping people. THAT was my goal – to help people purchase organic products at an affordable price. I received a message today from a lady in Canada asking if I could please ship a product to her that helped another person. Canada!!!
Locally, Pickle Stew has gone retail. I am so excited about this, I could burst! Our products are now available at The Sanctuary created by The Starving Artist Studio in Bridgeport. I am truly honored for the opportunity to join other local artisans like Local Whimsy, Amy’s Art Glass, Suzan Morgan, Feathered, and many other exceptional local vendors. Take a peek at The Sanctuary created by The Starving Artist Studio on Facebook.
Pickle Stew’s best-selling Organic Whipped Shea Body Butter, Organic Bath Bombs, Organic Coffee Sugar Scrubs, Organic Sugar Scrubs, Poo-Frume Spray, and many of our other products are now available for purchase locally. Cupcake Bath Bombs, Easter Goodies, and Mother’s Day gifts will be in stock very soon. Spring is just around the corner and it’s time to get out-and-about. Come see us and check out everything The Sanctuary has to offer.
In closing, I am living proof hard work and determination does pay off. Have I reached all of the goals I set for Pickle Stew? No, but I am closer than I was yesterday. As Zig Ziglar once said, “There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.” There have been obstacles, doubters, limitations, and mistakes. Each and every step up the stairs has taken me one step further than I thought possible. For all of the referrals, I sincerely thank you. The greatest compliment one can give is a referral. Additionally, a very special thank you to Kandie Lantz, Holly Lake, Jenny Reed, and Bill and Amanda Leasburg.
The Sanctuary hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come by and look around!
